Cashmere Cat gets hood with Ludacris and Wiz Khalifa

Norways Cashmere Cat, a ‘sure thing’ of raw talent for the tail end of 2013 and through 2014 has purportedly finished up a song with actor rapper Ludacris, Jeremih and ‘black and yellow’ MC Wiz Khalifa.

Tweeting excitedly this morning he told fans; “ooomg just finished a new song with jeremih, ludacris and wiz khalifa…!!! cant wait to let u hear it”

The forthcoming track follows on from his recent trip downunder for Vivid Live that saw the long haired upstart play alongside Lapalux for Future Classic’s own showcase.

In an intimate setting at Sydneys Civic Underground the Stoney Roads gang watched the rather modest producer flip out a bass heavy DJ set of Hip Hop cuts and ambient jams, impressive to say the least.

He also laid bare a rather eloquent cut of Miguel’s “Do You” mid-April that cemented him as a unique sound within the electronic soundscape.

Cashmere Cat isn’t the only electronic artist collaborating with Hip Hop heads of late with OWSLA Label owner Skrillex set to have finished up work with Mad Decent rapper Riff Raff.
