Ed Banger Records boss Pedro ‘Busy P’ Winters is just that, a busy man at the helm of a cutting edge electronic/dance label that has just surpassed ten years of music for gen Y.

To celebrate a decade of decadent music comes Ed Rec Vol X – a collection of new cuts from a roster that can only be described as seminal music makers for today’s now, slightly older youth.

Connecting with the bossman for an exchange of words with Stoney Roads, Pedro displayed his sincere memories of Australia recalling Parklife 2010 in Adelaide with most of the lineup on-stage to DJ including the now passed greats Ajax and Mehdi; “You are talking about magic moment, especially since we lost those 2 amazing people. This is the only reason why i am doing all this. Ed Banger is about conga line, having fun and bring the nicest people together” (more of that in the full interview here).

Focusing more on the explosion of ‘EDM’ within the dance and electronic world Busy P claimed “This whole EDM thing is scary.” adding “electronic festivals need to re-think their vision” while sharing our sentiments that he’d rather “…prefer to play a smaller room with kids who know who we are rather than a 10,000 capacity tent with kids who don’t know who Romanthony is!”
