Stereosonic moves to two-day format for 2013

Arguably’s Australia’s biggest dance music festival Stereosonic will move to a two day format for 2013!

Shared via Stereosonic’s social channels was the breaking news with the dates showing that Sydney and Perth will be split along with Melbourne and Brisbane, presumably to lower the general length of the festival.

This in theory is a great move and should allow what could be seen as too many acts on the one day be moved and enjoyed over the two.

Last year’s festival saw everyone from Destructo, Example, Brodinski, Dillon Francis to Major Lazer, Mr Oizo, Flux Pavillion and more perform nationally.

Update: Tickets will be $199.95 with punters allowed access to both days. The lineup will drop Thursday July 4th with tickets on-sale Thursday August 1st.

Richie McNeill, Totem Onelove director has said, “We wanted to reward our patrons for their support, feedback and loyalty. What better way to do this than expand our festival and cement Stereosonic, and Australia as a leader in dance music. We are pushing the envelope. Stereosonic fans will experience the greatest EDM lineup Australia has ever seen.”
