Skream defends bad live set on ‘Boiler Room’ at SXSW Warehouse

Skream Ray Ban

Skream is in damage control after receiving backlash for a dusty set at the Boiler Room x Ray Ban event.

It didn’t take long to realise Skream may have enjoyed a fair few brewskis (or something of that nature?) before playing! In his own defence the UK born and bred producer came out with the statement below via his official Facebook page.

“So I’m getting alot of stick because of my Ray Ban x Boiler Room set…..
1. I know its an awful mix.
2. Yes I was clearly smashed.
3. I’ve apologized already for what happened.

People judging for that can do so, I’ve proved I can DJ too many times. If you wanna say I’m a shit DJ then cool. Anyone who was at my ‘Skreamizm’ show at Barcelona the day before know’s this isn’t the case. Have a good day people.”

This is the same show that saw Skream flipping out having been cut off for abusing the levels slash passing curfew that led to the producer handing out two CDJ2000’s.

30 minutes of his life and he couldn’t hold it together. Makes us wonder. What do you think? Good set? bad set?
