Meretorious electronic group Shapeshifters have brought their iconic single “Lola’s Theme’ into 2013 with a fitting housey remix.

The ‘2013 remix’ is part of “Analogue To Digital…And Back Again,”, a double-cd compilation to mark 10 years of the duo with a graft of originals and remixes bundled together.

In speaking with Billboard, one half Marlin outlined just how important the hit was in their careers; “Yes, it was a monster! We knew it was a good record but the way people took that record on for themselves was amazing, including the U.S. Still to this day we are very proud of it.”

Remixes are from a varied cast with recent mover and shaker Little Boots, Frankie Knuckles (under his Directors Cut persona), Nic Fanciulli and Laidback Luke all add their touches on disc 1 while disc 2 is dedicated to the re-working skills of the pair!
