About 7 seconds after this started playing, I opened WordPress and started this post. Aside from his Rhye Remix, I don’t know much about Ryan Hemsworth, but he’s clearly got the chops. Mixmag did not put a genre on this premier, which is unfortunate, because it’s extremely difficult to pigeonhole. It falls somewhere between dreamwave and garage, with a slight hint of Trap (done tastefully!) tossed in for good measure.
