In a controversial decision, the family run Rolling Stone Magazine online department is set to be directed by the 22 year old son of founder Jann Wenner.
A job that was hotly contested by an over saturated plethora of people with proven talent has seen ambitious heads spewing as ‘Gus’ takes the reins after a meager 7 months work experience there.
Jann has been in PR damage control, stating the reason behind the unusual decision: “He’s worked at Rollingstone.com for the past six or seven months. He’s reporting to people who are really smart. And he’s not doing any reckless things.”
In a public display ‘How to parent children’, the founder also blerted out that the young Gus was “the one who showed the most promise.” Wonder how the other 2 children are feeling?
But you can’t blame him, it’s obvious he wants to keep the dynasty within the family. “Young people today are a lot more savvy than people were 40, 50 years ago. They’re better educated. And he’s a college grad. I wasn’t.”
