Lockah’s new EP, Only Built 4 Neon Nites, is an ode to his love for retro-flavored supercars and synths. Brighton producer and Donkey Pitch label-mate, Ghost Mutt takes the wheel on this remix of the Lamborghini inspired “Young Neon Countach,” turbocharging the solid original into high-speed, next level swagger. Check out both versions below and decide which gets your engine hotter.
Skream & Benga also premiered “Let The Cool Air Breeze” recently, another track from the EP with a similar dynamic arrangement of 80s infused synths and hard but playful basslines. As a whole, Only Built 4 Neon Nites is sexier than a Porsche and Lambo combined, so stream all 5 tracks here – “Platinum Blonde” is a great example of how Lockah crosses over into hip hop and Trap.
Check out Lockah’s video for “Guards Red Carrera” below, the third sports car themed track on his EP, which is a fun rendition of the films Drive and Tron.
