Isn’t Deadmau5 a good hubby to be helping his tattoo’d up misses on her forthcoming album?

The Mau5trap label owner announced the collab via his Twitter saying: “workin hard on one of the tracks on @thekatvond s upcoming album. this one is by far my fav! maybe a sneak preview on soundcloud inna bit ;)”

The result is a typical mau5 style sombre piano intro followed by a pretty sudden and unpolished break down. “The first rough draft of “Satellite.” Still lots of work to do, but here’s the intro + 1st verse for you.”

This recording is really the first thing to come out this year from Miss Mau5 since she teamed up with electric guitar shredder Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails) to sing and record a special edition song titled “LUVnSTUFF,” which was a personal remake of 2009 Zimmerman’s hit “Ghosts N Stuff”. The song was her Valentine’s Day gift to the Canadian producer. SO cute, I want to puke. Do you guys think this preview of Satellites has potential?
