Daniel Farley has been a mover and shaker in the NZ electronic music scene for quite some time now. While the bass music of DnB and Dubstep dominated the “Land Of The Long White Cloud,” Daniel stuck to his guns being a 4/4 man through and through, and now residing in Sydney, it’s starting to pay dividends it seems…

His track with Kiwi MC “Imagine This” dropped earlier this year on his own Bakehaus Records imprint, and somehow, someway, none other than A-Trak picked it up and took a shine to it, so much so that he played it in his Fool’s Gold Radio podcast, followed by charting it in his latest Beatport chart. If that wasn’t enough, dance music’s other North American hipster-titan, Diplo, dropped it on his Radio 1 show and charted it as well…

So if it’s good enough for A-Trak and Diplo, then it’s sure good enough for us, and Daniel has freed up the track on Soundcloud as a complimentary download for y’all, along with fellow Aucklander Chromatic’s (who recently has had Baauer hammering his tunes) bassy garage house remix too.

He’s currently working on a new EP that some big names indeed have taken an interest in, and busy pottering about in preparation for the launch of his club brand, The Nark Collective, here in Sydney in a few weeks. Enjoy!
