Coachella has surprised fans with 2014 dates and tickets prices only a month after this years festivities – with the festival set to run over two consecutive weekends again, April 11 to April 13, and April 18 to April 20.

In typical Goldenvoice fashion the dates and ticket info was sprung without warning with advanced sales up for purchase this Friday at 10:00am PDT.

To help curb the steepish outlay, a discount helps bring the overall price tag to $349 along with a payment plan that allows staggered instalments in the lead up – but is only available to those that are involved in the advanced sale.

The 2013 event went off without a hitch and featured the usual only-at-coachella moments with Daft Punk teasers, an R.Kelly cameo during Phoenix’s set and a plethora of dance acts that included Tommy Trash, Dillon Francis, Seth Troxler and an almost-didn’t-happen set from Richie Hawtin.

With the surging popularity in ‘EDM’ in the states it’d be predictable that 2014 will feature a slightly more dance-centric lineup. In the mean time, have a watch of Dillon Francis’ Sarah set along with a ‘molly pop’ at the 2:00 mark.
