Out on Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich’s Desolat label this week is Butch’s FTS EP, a four-track tech-house number dedicated in tribute to the late Italian Prime Minister (despite Butch being German). The EP is dominated by a big drum sound, but also samples unnamed Italian movies, documentaries, and even a steam whistle (which he admits came from his kitchen). Fucking solid.
