Out today via Britain’s famous Shogun Audio comes Alix Perez’s newest album Chroma Chords! It’s his second LP, following up from 2009’s 1984 which saw him gain a shitload of following worldwide. A core member of the Shogun roster, Perez’s latest full-length takes the same path as others on the imprint—looking beyond standard drum & bass aesthetics, incorporating vocals and exploring other tempos and genre’s altogether.
Calling on Sam Wills and D’Ablo, UK MCs Riko Dan, Jehst and even Foreign Beggars, the album is being released digitally, on CD, on vinyl and even as a special edition with 3 extra tracks. Earlier this month Alix Perez released the first single from the album, Annie’s Song, so today the rest gets released :]
In an accompanying press release, Perez says that the record “is a snapshot of [his] past, present and future.” HIGHLY recommended.
