What’s in store for those going to the Daft Punk launch in Wee Waa

Mystery still clouds the secluded launch of Daft Punk’s album ‘Random Access Memories’ in Wee Waa in Australia on Friday 17 May 2013.

Columbia and Sony have briefed the town with strict instructions not to change up what they would normally do for this launch. So with this at brief, a fairly usual format has been set up with 1 hour 30 minutes being dedicated to the Daft Punk launch:
– Gates open at 3:30pm
– Pet show at 4pm,
– motorbike stunts at 5:30pm,
– BBQ at 6pm,
– Official opening at 7pm,
– Wee Waa showgirl crowned at 7:30pm,
– fireworks at 8pm,
and THEN Daft Punk launch at 8:30pm
– Finished off by chainsaw tricks and a local country & western band at 10pm!

In typical country humour, the local courrier called the ‘Narrabri Courier’ reported the local butcher of Wee Waa ‘Dewson’s Quality Meats’ is prepping some special meaty dishes for the event including ‘random access rissoles’ and ‘daft pork sausages’. NOM! Are you heading down?
