Azealia Banks has gone a little crazy with both her musical style and video through her latest single release titled ‘Yung Rapunxel’.

A bass driven number that is designed to smash you in the face almost literally. This being said, it “wouldn’t be a music video” without Beats By Dre product placement around 40 seconds which kind of takes away from the whole smashing bottles on cops, her crazy eyes, owls coming out of her head and everything. I thought it was almost genuinely really artistic and was going to offer kudos to her but I’ll offer Jam Sutton a little for making it, he should have just said no to the marketing.

The song itself is good! It doesn’t really need Banks’s vocal to be honest. You can see that the song is so thick with noise that at a certain point, the only creative option she had that everyone would think of is the filtered scream. It’s boring and overdone. What do you guys think?
