It’s no simple feat to start fresh waves on the White Isle, but if anyone is visionary and connected enough to do it, Pete Tong is that person. Ibiza boasts an unrivaled legacy of weekly parties that fill it’s iconic clubs all summer long every year, so having the prestige and the right venue to add to that is a big deal to say the least.

Entering its third season, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel offers a fertile setting for the new party, aptly named Le Grand Bazaar, to be held Fridays starting July 5th through August 30th from midday to midnight. Although the Balearic nights are packed, there’s plenty of room for a daytime event of such epic proportions. And conveniently for Ushuaïa hotel guests and revelers, the five star luxury beach hotel is right across from Space on the Playa d’en Bossa.

Pete Tong has already enlisted heavyweights like Carl Cox, Fat Boy Slim and the Hot Natured crew (for their debut Ibiza live performance), as well as rising underground talent. The party will also provide a special space to record the All Gone Pete Tong radio show, and Pete plans to begin the broadcast each week just as the sun goes down.

Pete Tong commented about his vision for the new fiesta:

“When I started thinking about the Le Grand Bazaar concept it was inspired by Ushuaïa and the possibilities the venue offered. I’m very excited to be working with the Ushuaïa team, I think they have genuinely changed the face of the island and have offered something new. I’m looking forward to making Fridays completely unique, bringing daytime clubbing back to the island with an incredible lineup of underground and global names, and also to dreaming up more crazy and inspiring events with Ushuaïa this summer and beyond.”
