Oisima has released the ‘Jewels of Thought’ Mixtape #2 for free after its launch last month on Triple J’s Sound Lab with Fanella Kernebone. The tight 32 minute mix fuses ambient hip hop, polyrhythmic percussion and jazz infused beats.

Not satisfied with releasing two EP’s in one year, the Adelaide beatmaker is preparing his debut album, set for release this September. In the meantime the seasonal Jewels of Thought Mixtapes are a platform to for listeners to hear exclusive unreleased material, straight from the studio. Alongside originals, Oisima integrates tracks from his favourite producers and musical influences into a cohesive array of sounds and samples .

Since Anth’s first live appearance at Adelaide’s Lost City Festival in Feb 2012, he has shared stages with some of the electronic beat scene heavyweights, including XXYYXX, Ras G, Suff Daddy, Knxwledge, Mux Mool, Oddisee & Oliver Daysoul. Oisima has also been booked to play festivals including WomAdelaide, Wide Open Space festival (Alice Springs, Melbourne Jazz Festival, Moving Music (Adel), Lost City, Barrio and Strawberry Fields (Vic).
