Twitter have indicated their intentions to compete in the saturated music service market but rightly so!

The decision has developed following last year acquisition of company ‘We Are Hunted’. The new project will be aptly titled Twitter Music. The app aims to cater to each Twitter user’s specific interest – via which artist they follow on Twitter – by suggesting artist and songs based on personal preference.

The four key points on the service are it will offer a “Suggestion” tab, “Popular,” “Emerging” and a #NowPlaying category to find out what music the people you follow are tweeting. Twitter with a cherry on top!

So when is Twitter Music being launched? Their isn’t a long wait as the service is set to blast off in late March 2013. Is the internet turning into one giant episode of Big Brother or MTV?
