Hudson Mohawkes Album Will ‘definitely’ Be Out This Year

Wonder beats-kid Hudson Mohawke aka Ross Birchard has told NME that his follow up yet-to-be-named record will “definitely” be out this year.

The Warp Records signed producer has already had a rather astounding 18 months with the booming “Satin Panthers” EP release in 2011, his collaborative work with A++ beats-guy Lunice as TNGHT and more recently his signing to Kanye’s G.O.O.D Music roster for production duties.

Delving further Birchard explained that the release will be “an album album,” and “a bit more consolidated as a project, “with “Strings, horns, trumpets… I wanted to make it more musical in general and less computer focused. I want to step out of the electronic bedroom producer role and move into a musician producer role.”

It’s safe to say that Hudson’s forthcoming album will be a hotly anticipated release and possibly probably involve close friends Rustie and even some of Kanye’s mates.
