Daft Punk Album “Random Access Memories” Available For Pre-Order, Out May 21

Daft Punk’s new album finally has a name and a date. Out in the US on May 21, you can now pre-order “Random Access Memories” for $11.99. As previously reported, it will contain 13 new Daft Punk Originals, definitively features the likes of Nile Rodgers and Giorgio Moroder while rumored, additional features come from Paul Williams, Panda Bear (of Animal Collective), and Chilly Gonzales.

While we still have only heard 15 seconds of the album, it appears those 15 seco nds belonged in part to Rodgers, who recently told Rolling Stone “All I can say is that when you listen to the clip which dropped on Saturday Night Live, it pretty much shows you the great collaboration. It’s clear as a bell.”

Could a surprise DJ set from the duo be on deck at Coachella? Will they start touring and playing festivals by this summer? Who knows. But it’s certain that everyone’s favorite  Parisian robots have activated and shall soon end their 5+ year hibernation. Until May 21st…
