EDM headliner Avicii could not make an appearance at both the Brisbane and Perth addition of the Future Music Festival on the weekend due to illness.

“He has been suffering from stomach related issues which they have been monitoring, and was immediately hospitalised on landing in at Brisbane airport.” – Music Feeds Reported

In Brisbane, it was reported Hardwell played an extended set to cover for the ‘Levels’ star and something similar was rumoured to have happened last night in Perth.

The star who recently came off 2 GRAMMYs nominations (majority of EDM categories were won by Skrillex) this year isn’t the first producer to be hospitalised while on tour in Australia with RL Grimes AKA Clockwork having problems himself!
