Tommy Trash becomes first Australian artist to release on Deadmau5’s Mau5trap Records

Australian expatriate Tommy Trash who toured last year on Tiesto’s Club Life College tour has successfully become the first Aussie to achieve a release on the world renowned Deadmau5 owned Mau5trap records.

The EP is set to be a remix release of his ‘Monkey See Monkey Do’ track in which the original was released of Chris Lake’s ‘Rising Music’ label.

In an impromptu chat on Twitter we asked Tommy some questions in regards to how he has got to where he is with this release.

very honored!!!

What can we expect from the EP? Did getting it signed to them come as a surprise?

it did very much!! The ep is brand new remixes of monkey see. Including a new edit by myself!

v.dope! have u spoken to the head Mau5 man? could this be the start of something longer running?

We’ve met a couple of times & it’s been good vibes. id luv to release more stuff with them.. guess we’ll just have 2 wait n c!

Sure.. they are by tom staar, nom de strip and zero hero!!! i love all the remixes so much!!
