Kavinsky’s (who remains close friends with Daft Punk) new album ‘Outrun’ is out now, hear a preview of all the tracks below!

It’s been a long time coming for the Frenchman and ‘Outrun’ does not disappoint drawing themes from past productions “Nightcall” and “Wayfarer” – from the get-go you’ll be picturing yourself with your foot flat on the accelerator and thumping along in a Ferrari!

This does bring excitement to the old heads who were used to rhythmic drums and heavily pounded synths but for the new school, these adaptations might not be ‘fresh’ enough to entice them away from the odd-trends of trap and deephouse.

From a man that quotes Terminator as his favourite soundtrack it’s easy to see the inspirations and intrepid strive for an older sound that splay across ‘Outrun’.
