Any doubt that Daft Punk’s impending album was somewhere between the fridge and the oven can now be erased. The following tweet makes it appear fairly evident that Todd Edwards has seen remix duties for the autonomous and robotic duo.

Could it be Phoenix? Sure. But legendary is a word we doubt Echo Park Records would throw around lightly. These slight details regarding arguably the most anticipated electronic album are enough to get the ears salivating.

Update: Todd has come out and denied it will be Daft Punk saying “No, see that’s the thing – no-one said Daft Punk, I said a French duo! And it isn’t Daft Punk that I’m remixing. I’ll announce it once the remix is in, I’ll make an announcement on Twitter, but it was just kinda like to stir up a little chat, y’know… but its amazing how people take one statement and then turn it into something else, there’s other French groups out there you know!”
