Ultra Phase 2 Lineup So Huge The Site Crashes

Well the moment you have been waiting for, the phase 2 lineup of Miami’s Ultra Music Festival. Unfortunately only minutes after the release the UMF site crashed we assume because of a server overload after a massive amount of traffic. Even the Ultra team can’t predict how huge their event is, and as a former winner of the IDMA award for best global event it’s at the top the pack. With Festivals on most continents, Ultra is leading the game when in comes to festival production.

Ultra’s phase one lineup went out without much surprise. Heavyweights like Tiesto, Avicii, and Armin were expected along with almost every other major Dj. 2013 will see the return of Deadmau5 for a live set and the two final performances of the mega trio Swedish House Mafia who will apparently disband afterwards. A debut of their two week festival format will host Arenas from Carl Cox, Space Ibiza, Armin’s ASOT, and Mixmag.

Some of the highlights of phase two are exciting in a great way for true dance fans. Surface is their new concept arena featuring the ‘Who’s Who’ in dance music. Names like Dirty Bird’s Claude Von Stroke and Justin Martin shine along side tech favorites Seth Troxler and Maya Jane Coles. Label tents include wonder boys Skillex’s OWSLA, Afrokjack’s Jacked, and Mark Night’s Toolroom Records. Of course to top it all off the past year couldn’t be complete without a stage rightly named ‘Trapped’ hosting Flosstradamus, Dillon Francis, Baauer, and Nadastrom.

Phase two is quite a refreshing announcement highlighting some of the huge hitting underground talent that has broken out of the US in the past year. With appearances from wonder brother Disclosure on week 1, Scuba on week 2, and a few more diamonds in the rough, Ultra looks to be a far unmatched start for the 2013 festival season. Grab your tickets now, because they are going fast.
