Premiere: Jealous Much? & Sgt Slick – Do It All EP

Aussie artist Jealous Much? (hand-picked to support Skrillex on his last Australian tour) is about to drop his debut EP ‘Do It All’ pairing up with fellow countryman Sgt Slick (Melbourne born DJ/Producer based in LA) and Linkin Park collaborator Ryu.

Don’t be fooled by this new artist! Jealous Much? is the new side project for James Ash aka one of the members of the Rogue Traders and has been signed to Warner Australia imprint Neon Records already completing remixes for the likes of " target="_blank">Wynter Gordan & Ivan Gough.

The EP is diverse with the track ‘Do it all’ combining a somewhat 80’s influence in the build with a moombah break down to add the modern flavour. Ryu’s vocals ride the track but the melody itself holds its own.

The second track ‘Echo’ is banging in the sense it has a lot of dutch prodding and a big old chord build. Call me crazy but this one could go down well in a chase scene in a game of Grand Theft Auto.

Beatport release: 8th February / iTunes release: 22nd February 2013
