The 15 most played songs of 2012 on Stoney Roads

It’s always a surprise when reading which tracks got the most plays on Stoney Roads and 2012 was no different!

There were plenty of talented producers making it into the top 15 with both originals and remixes , some a little more mainstream than others but what it shows is in some cases you cannot predict what will be popular be it disco, house or big club bangers.

A surprising but deserving hat-tip must go out to Australian duo What So Not, made up of club specialist Emoh Instead and boy-wonder Flume with two inclusions in the top 15, their first a more-mellow effort on SBTRKT’s Pharaohs at 14 and their truely banging trap-wrap Major Lazer coming in second.

Other highlights include more Australian love for Parachute Youth’s anthem “Can’t Get Better Than This” and Lancelots remix of Matt Corby as well as Beni’s take on Kimbra.

Feel free to click and explore each.
