Daily WTF as news has surfaced through Pages Digital of Australian duo the Stafford Brothers signing on with Birdmans Cash Money Label that boasts an entirely Hip Hop roster made up of Drake, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes and Nicki Minaj.

The idea of this being a troll has faded away with word that their next single “Hello” will feature Lil Wayne and Christiana Milian.

All idea of this cruel joke was washed away with Birdmans official statement sounding more like a business transaction versus the boys somewhat aptitude and passion towards electronic music.

“The Stafford Brothers blew me away with their energy, superb production skills and strong remixes… Their music may have a party vibe, but that didn’t fool Slim and I. With their ownership of nightclubs, their own reality television show, international tours and dedication to their craft, we knew the Stafford Brothers were serious and would fit right in with the hardworking YMCMB family.”

One half Chris Stafford seemed half-enthused with the situation “Hailing from Australia, what could be better than signing to Cash Money Records, an iconic US label that has a global fan base?”

With the guys already playing globally, have ownership in clubs, their own short lived reality TV show, is this really the right direction for the two?
