Calvin Harris and Emeli Sande plan to Collaborate

It isn’t unknown for British EDM producer CALVIN HARRIS to team up with a big time vocalist, and next on CALVIN’s list- to join the likes of FLORENCE WELCH and RIHANNA– is British songstress EMELI SANDE.

EMELI SANDE, the pipes behind pop-tunes such as ‘Next To Me’ and ‘Heaven’, is swiftly becoming a household name in popular music scene, and has stamped her name in the industry after stacking up a handful of awards at the 2012 Brit Choice Awards, Q Awards and the MOBOs earlier this year. Not to mention she performed at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.

Sounds like CALVIN HARRIS likes her credentials!

CALVIN admitted in an interview with Capital FM that:

“I’m very fortunate to have worked with a lot of people… Number one on that list is Emeli Sande.”

It looks like Mr HARRIS is very keen to add some more people to his collaboration tally that sky rocketed with his recent album ’18 Months’, but its best for you fans out there to NOT hold your breathe for the songs release date, as CALVIN says:

“Saying yes is the first step, getting them to a place where they’ll enter a studio is a different level… It can take a lot of time, and when you’ve got someone like Emeli Sande, who’s one of the busiest people I think I could asked.”

I have high hopes for this track!

Have a listen to DIPLO and GRANDTHEFT’s remix of CALVIN’s most recent hit ‘Sweet Nothing’ featuring FLORENCE WELCH.
