Boiler Room series to land in Australia

UK and now US based live DJ streaming series Boiler Room TV is set to land in Australia thanks to boutique music and arts based Melbourne festival Sugar Mountain.

The internet underground party phenomenon will reveal itself in a cluster of small, invite only and intimate shows with two dates in Perth, one at Sydneys Goodgod Small Club and The Bottom End in Melbourne.

Details are thin as to who’s playing but we’d be safe to assume it’ll be the originators of the party along with hand selected local beat makers.

Boiler Room consistently stream live sets from international heavyweights and the true underground with guests including Jamie XX, SBTRKT, Deadmau5, DJ Shadow, James Blake, Gang Colours, Whomadewho, Sven Vath, Alan Braxe and many many more.

Could this be the first instalment of an official Boiler Room series here in Australia? We hope so.
