Watch: CAZZETTE – BEAM ME UP

Just because the house mafia is over, doesn’t mean the Swedish invasion is ending. The young duo Cazzette are here with their long awaited debut album Eject. The big house duo have been on the road since their launch into the dance music world under two years ago. Remixing huge names such as Jay-Z, Kanye, and Avicii have earned their spot on the main stage.

A week before the release, the duo gave us a sneak peek with a video for the lead track ‘Beam Me Up’. It looks to us the shoot may have partially taken place at Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas. The plot line gives an epic take on the dance invasion that has taken the US by storm, capturing the nations youth. Filled with tracks like this, the album promises to be full of hits. This release should keep the guys rising up the set ranks directly to the headliner spot.

In a bold move, the duo have planned to release the new album exclusively on the Spotify music platform. After recent news of Spotify landing on hard times, this seems to be a smart aquisition from the Swedish-based streaming service. As the first release of it’s kind, the Cazzette duo look to pioneer the new age of music sales and do something out of the box.

In another move by the progressive producers, they still lie unsigned to any label. As recently voiced by many well ranking Djs, the age of labels is over. Artists need not sign their careers away to hit the top. Most ermerging producers are releasing more and more tracks for free. With booking fees raising, the pennies profited from album sales don’t even cover the airfare to their next gig. Times are changing, Spotify may not be the answer but the popular young duo Cazzette can afford give it a try.

Make sure to check back next week for our exclusive interview with the Swedish duo. Hear what they have to say about the Spotify release and their rise to the top.
