Skrillex to take on role of The Crow in a re-make of the original blockbuster film.
Not content with blowing the top off the dubstep genre, winning Grammys, appearing in cartoons and dating Ellie Goulding, the half-head-shaved producer has put his hand up to fill the lead role in a re-make of the 1994 cult gothic film The Crow.
In a strange twist it was The Hangover actor Bradley Cooper that was intended for the role but was switched out to fit the already similar looking dubstep-dude.
Harvey Weinstein Weinstein Company head honcho, spoke of the casting, “I love that kid Skrillex! He’s going to bring a real sense of authenticity to the role and, hopefully, make me a $100 million!”
The original film was marred in tragedy when original star Brandon Lee was fatally shot in the abdomen when a dummy bullet was lodged in a fake gun and discharged by a blank cartridge.
We can’t tell if this is a late April fools joke or the real deal?
