Scuba – Talk Torque (Pete Tong Rip)

Here’s another stunning production from Hotflush’s experimental and astounding bossman. “Talk Torque” reverberates with those big room basslines, euphoric melodies and masterful use of vocals that characterize Scuba’s music. Once a forerunner of dubstep, he’s transformed his sound to straddle house and techno in seamless form, and his chameleonic label has followed suit.

Talk Torque is due out on Hotflush October 29th in digital form, and a limited edition marbled vinyl release will also follow on November 12th. The vinyl release comes shortly after the hugely anticipated world premiere of Scuba’s live show in London on the 3rd, also the first ever UK label night for Hotflush Recordings – this is his only London show this year.

2012 has been huge for this subterranean magician, with the overwhelming success of Personality, his third album that dropped early in the year, as well as his debut in Ibiza, joining James Zabiela’s Born Electric label party at Space.
