The recent hit single by Havanna Brown has shot into star-status, going platinum and earning radio play and praise throughout AUS. Unknown to many, the track was a collaboration with dutch producer R3hab. The full vocal version is easily a top 40 radio smash, below the true club colors of R3hab’s studio time are evident. In a word with the man himself we ask how this track came to play?

“Red One introduced me to Havana, I immediately liked her style and flew out to Stockholm to work on some ideas with her in the studio. We clicked right away, she has a DJ background which means we had a lot in common, she’s a really lovely girl and I’m so happy that the collaboration worked out well and now it’s Platinum in Australia! Hopefully we will collaborate further in the future” – R3hab

Sometimes in the pop world producers get pushed under the rug. This never ending battle with big labels is fought daily by producers. Especially with the infiltration of dance beats to top radio play, the production is often forgotten. Either way this track is great! Big name pop vocals are often sometimes out of reach producers, but luckily this one clicked.
