Adam Beyer’s Drumcode Hits 100 Releases

If you love techno you know the Swedish empire Drumcode created by genre front-man Adam Beyer. In late September they dropped DC100 a hefty feat since their first release on vinyl in 1996. Adam and his label have risen Sweden to be the destination for techno.

Beyer has created a worldwide sworn fan base by introducing the hottest techno talent and headlining huge festivals such as Awakenings Netherlands. In an area where pop-centric dance genres are child’s play, Beyer’s rock-solid beats are a force to be reckoned with. Young techno producers swear by Beyer, trying to a chance to get on his crew. Earlier this year we chatted with one of his recent signings the Manic Brothers who have been smashing clubs from Stockholm to South Beach all before their debut track. Influenced by the master, they had nothing but amazing words about their new label boss and international super producer.

The release featuring title track ‘The Color Out Of Space’ plays a futuristic melody with uniform bells leading into that classic techno solid break. The B side of the Ida Engberg collaboration release holds ‘Lovecraft’ a subtle bouncing tune with quick leads that really keep you on your toes. Two solid tracks to pay hommage for all that built this house.

After 16 years of Drumcode, Beyer still does it big as the king of Techno. With the expansion of a US techno market America is sure to be seeing more of this Euro based crew. Drumcode’s guarantee to keep you dancing their artists are worth a listen wherever your musical tastes reside.
