If your a dubstep fan you should be familiar with 12th Planet and his influential Smog Records. These guys have been influential in the evolution of American dubstep and bass music as a whole. With the anticipated release of Smog City, a compilation of the last 5 years that 12 Planet and team have dropped from their LA headquarters. The comp is set to feature a variety of tracks and producers from the squad with a range of tunes. As the label boss himself describes:

“When you listen to this compilation, its a mix of traditional dubstep, trap, and new-school dubstep all laced with the underground SMOG vibe. We’re still evolving with new and old sounds but the one thing constant is lots of bass!“

They teamed up with respected music publication Rolling Stone to give you a preview and free track before the iTunes release at the end of the month. 12th Planet has really hit the world over the past two years.
