In a recent interview with Mixmag, Australian duo Nervo spoke of an unusual yet quietly funny mishap that happened one night in Amsterdam.

Mim, one half of the big house bangor duo had been misinterpreted for being a lesbian.

Liv spoke of the incident that occurred in which a girl came up and started “licking Mim’s ear and grabbing her lady-bits”. “I think it’s her short hair – people just assume she’s gay,” says Liv. “I found it hilarious, but Mim didn’t find it funny at all.”

Bet this never happened to Skrillex…

The duo have climbed charts with their vocally powered electro anthems that has seen festival spots at Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland and residencies in Ibiza and Las Vegas.

Recent collaborations haved included Avicii, Nicky Romero (playing Big Day Out) and Hook N Sling.
