Nile Rodgers is quickly re-becoming the flavor of the moment with artists lining up to collaborate with him after his recent chat about working with Daft Punk.
News in today’s edition of the Daily Star states the Chic mainman is set to now record with the recent Olympics Coca Cola producer Mark Ronson and former The Smiths and current Modest Mouse and The Cribs musician Johnny Marr!
Rodgers collaboration with Ronson runs deep, openly saying “I’ve known Mark since he was five years old, and bought him his first Walkman.”
“The vibe between Mark and I is unbelievable. He told me and Johnny at a show recently that he grew up idolising our guitar styles, so maybe the three of us will do something together.” Sounds like a musician who keeps it real!
