Due for a release on the 27th of August LVs album ‘Sebenza’ is set to take the left field music scene by storm. After the relative success of their first release together (Boomslang, Hyperdub 2010), LV and Okmalumkoolkat have linked up for half of this release (Other MCs collaborating are Roughest and Spoek Mathambo). They bring together London sounds and South African flows to create something truly unique and original. Dr Steve Goodman AKA Kode 9s label Hyperdub have for the past eight years been pushing the boundaries with releases from the likes of Burial and Kode9 himself. This most recent release does not fail to impress and I wouldn’t be surprised to hear this on daytime radio. LV is set for a European tour in September.
