Mark Ronson is reportedly producing for one of the remaining Beatles member Paul McCartney.

The two met back in 2011 when the Bang Bang Bang Intl leader DJ’d at Pauls wedding which has now led to a week stint at his New York studio.

A source told the UK’s Sunday Mirror: “This week they went to the studio and started knocking about together to see what they can do together. Everybody’s really excited about the prospect of Mark working with Paul.”

Mark is no stranger to producing for others having notched up duties for Duran Duran, Kaiser Chiefs and Amy Winehouse back in 2008.

To some this might come as a surprise but is fast becoming the norm’ for indie and dance producers making the jump to production for pop artists. In the last 12 months we’ve seen Fred Falke take on Theophilus London, Australia’s Bumblebeez for Uffie and even dubstep producer Skream with Kelis!
