Fatboy Slim is set to rumble cinemas with an international movie screening of a Live gig in his home town of Brighton.
The footage was taken at Brighton's Amex Stadium in front of 40,000 fans over two nights and features a breathtaking 600 square metre LED video wall that stretched the length of the pitch. This screening heralds the second movie to be filmed in 5.1 Dolby Digital Sound, after The Chemical Brothers cinematic 'Don't think' experience.
My only qualm with these crazy performance movies is cinema's always play them at a safe decibel level taking away from the intensity of the 'experience'. Regardless, the visuals do inflame the senses.
Global screening is on Friday the 31st of August 2012. Check your local cinema screening guides!
