Just three months after Erol Alkan and Boys Noize (About to embark on a world tour) dropped the 100% analog tracks ROLAND RAT / BRAIN STORM, Berlin based Boysnoize Records proudly presents a 2 track remix release by 2 of the biggest acts of the techno scene. And we are happy to premiere it!

The first track ‘ROLAND RAT’ has had a rework by techno pioneer LFO (Warp Records), who sampled the rat and moduled it to death to create a traditional German techno bangor with a tonne of cool bleeps. Think Kraftwerk with the grunt of LFO’s modern techno stylings.

The second track, ‘the baron of techno’ (Dave Clarke together with Mr Jones) is a a straight and dark pumpin’ monster. Compressed squishy kicks with disjointed siren like synths makes for a strangely ear titillating experience that repeats and grows in addiction!
