Continuing their trend of intimate gigs The XX will be heading to Australia in July for two small club shows.

Making sure tickets get into the hands of fans a ballot system has been set up to cater for the demand for either the Melbourne Forum show July 18th or Sydney Metro on the 20th.

It seems a little off for such a prominent band, just prior to the new album ‘Coexist’ (due out September) to be touring so early so we can only hope it’s a precursor to something later this year.

We are very excited to be returning to Australia soon for two small shows. We will play Melbourne Forum on July 18th and Sydney Metro on July 20th. To try and stop touts getting all the tickets, there is a lottery system which you can apply for starting at 10am today:
