If I’m a passionate fan of anyone, it is Gesaffelstein. Sure it helps he is the most beautiful man to walk this Earth and yes, I am going to go on the records as sayying he is a solid 10. A 10 ladies and gentleman who is exceptionally good at producing techno, so good that I feel impregnated with some sort of non-existant techno child every time I listen to his tunes (protection is for pussies). The news that the next Bromance EP is going to be headed by Gesaff is good news, great news, news that deserves to be shared even if we must deal with small excerpts that aren’t nearly enough to quench my figurative thirst.

The Rise of Depravity is the perfect way to describe what goes in my head when I listen to Gesaffelstein. Also, my hot tip is to wait around Depravity long enough to hear the joy that is 1:31. With Belgium, it feels like he’s taken a page out of Oizo’s book in it feeling like a slowed/reversed/awesome version of Depravity – thoughts? It’s out July 9.
