Benga creates track for train trip

UK dubstep connoisseur Benga has been interestingly commissioned by Gatwick Express to produce a 30 minute track to fill the time in a specific train journey/route!

The train that goes from Gatwick international airport to London Victoria is famously known for being boring as bat shit (but what 30 minute public transport ride isn’t). The idea for Benga’s 30 minute track is that the music will feature elements that correspond to various ‘sights’ on the journey. Personally after previewing the thoughts and sounds of Benga in the video below, I believe I would spew at about the 14 minute mark with drum and bass overload.

Benga mentions his influences for the track come from the noises around him while he travels. All those tapping noises that exist on a train are enough and this means you will get double the noise fidget dobbed with a good chunk of bass! Personally I would be happy listening to " target="_blank">Benga and Coki’s “Night” on repeat, but in all serious this does sound like a cool experience.

Go check out the Magnetic Man member’s (Playing at Parklife 2012) 30 minute track here.

Train tickets Only £27.90 return, folks!
