UK festival bought by US company

In a sign of dance music growing from strength to strength, US company Live Nation Entertainment has bought the famous UK festival company Cream Holdings Ltd aka the guys who own Creamfields.

In what seems to be an act of cross pollination Creamfields CEO James Barton will be taking on the role of president of the now newly formed global franchise. The new president was quoted in saying they will focus their new venture in expanding to “key markets in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia”. So I wonder if they will have an around the world festival pass? Wouldn’t that be cool!

if y’all want to see something crazy from Creamfields. Check this video out of a bro falling 20 meters off a scaffolding next to the main stage in sydney. Side note – he survived, checked himself out of hospital and tried to get back into the festival a few hours later!
