Steadfast Australian techno duo The Finger Prince keep on jammin’ with the release of their ‘Mao’ EP on the newly appointed Motorik Records.
Channelling inner-city lights, the EP is characteristic of the fast surging revival of gritty techno in Australia and abroad – with the release in my eyes, their best yet.
To celebrate we’ve got our hands on the world premier of ex-Light Year Jenson Interceptors ‘Last Dance With Mao’ remix – a bountiful ‘fast-funk’ mainline that attacks the soft fleshy club sound and roots out the true droogs!
Sidenote: the Motorik party returns to its original bloodline with a party in the rave cave (77 William St) tomorrow night – Fri 25th w/ a 3 hour Finger Prince set accompanied by Melb vogue child Generik as well as locals CMSMT61 and Vivi – details here
