Are you a big fan of LCD Soundsystem? Yep? Well you too will be raising your eyebrows at the new tv advert and more specifically song choice for American restaurant chain TGI Fridays.
The ‘May 2 for $10’ commercial features a song with an uncanny resemblance to LCD Soundsystems “Daft Punk Is Playing At My House” with its all too familiar percussive elements and yelps!
This isn’t the first time an ad has been ripped off for a TV advert with a recent VW ad sporting a Beach House inspired track that was eventually proven to be a little too same-same with it eventually being pulled.
