The Chemical Brothers to complete film score!

The Chemical Brothers are set to follow in a similar path to Daft Punk with the announcement that they will be making a soundtrack to an up and coming action flick.

Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands are no strangers to having their music commissioned in action movies, most famously in the successful Keanu Reeves flick ‘The Matrix’ and secret bio-children movie ‘Hanna’, not to mention their recent ground breaking 7.1 Dolby Digital surround sound ‘Don’t Think‘ cinema experience!

The movie titled ‘Now you see me‘ will feature actors Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman and rapper Common. the storyline of the movie has been described as: “An FBI squad caught up in a game of cat-and-mouse against a team of the world’s greatest illusionists, who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances and shower the profits onto their audiences”.

With the tone of the movie set at ‘hold your breathe’ action, we can expect to see a more ‘in line’ with their sound soundtrack than that of French producers Daft Punk, who went out and developed a very different score which was met with mixed reviews.
