In the fallout from the Mega Upload/Mega Video shut down a glut of ‘sharing’ sites have either jumped ship or have been put under scrutiny with the most recent action taken against online giant RapidShare.

It was a German court that has now officially ruled that RapidShare should pro-actively filter and moderate ALL content before it becomes available for download in turn putting a huge financial burden on the company costing it more in wages and possibly technology to automatically counter pirated material.

Is this the end of Rapidshare?
